Creator terms

Your bot sells to your fans in your name. You choose its persona, its photos and its prices, and fans pay with Telegram Stars inside your own bot, so those payments are between you and your fans. We provide the software that runs your bot; we are not a party to your sales.

That makes you responsible for what your bot offers, for answering your fans' payment and refund questions, and for any tax on your earnings.

You must be 18 or older to apply and to run a bot. Everyone shown in anything you upload, whether a photo for sale or a face sample for your character, must be 18 or older.

Every face your bot shows must be either AI-generated or yours, given with your consent. When you upload face samples you confirm exactly that, and we check every set before a character is made.

• Anyone under 18, real or synthetic. No content that shows or suggests a minor, however it was made.
• A real person's likeness without their consent. You may not build a character from, or present your bot as, someone who hasn't agreed to it.
• Content that is illegal in India or where your fans are, or that breaks Telegram's rules.
• Misleading fans about what they are paying for.

Bots stop chatting with anyone who says they are under 18, on every bot on the platform. You can't turn that off.

You create your bot in your own Telegram account with @BotFather, and it stays yours. We store its token encrypted, use it only to run your bot, and never show it in full once it's saved. You can revoke the token in @BotFather at any time, which stops the bot.

Your wallet is prepaid, in US dollars. Each AI reply your bot sends and each image you generate is charged at the prices shown on our homepage and in your dashboard. Replies that fail and image jobs that fail aren't charged, and messages you write yourself are free.

If there is a charge for making your AI character's face (its Higgsfield Soul ID), it is taken once, when you submit its photos for review, at the price shown in the same places. If we don't approve the photos, that charge goes back to your wallet; if you fix them and submit again, it is taken again.

Top-ups are credited after we have checked the payment. Charges are non-refundable once used. When your balance reaches zero, your bot stops sending AI replies until you top up.

We can pause or remove a bot, decline a character, or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts fans at risk. Where we can, we'll tell you why and how to put it right.

Your bot runs on Telegram, so Telegram's Terms of Service and Bot Developer Terms apply to you and your fans as well as these. Telegram decides when Stars are released (currently after 21 days) and how you withdraw them.

We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top changes, and for a change that matters we will email you first.
